Pre Paid Service/Engineering Days

Flexible engineering days to be used for non-contract tasks – reduces delays, no purchase orders and receive highest priority and saves money

This is the fast growing product within our portfolio. PPS days are used by our clients to cover work that falls outside any standard support agreement. Some clients use this arrangement rather than a formalised contract especially if they have their own internal IT staff.

This work can be development work, installation projects, consultancy or routine maintenance. Any of our additional services can be called upon under this scheme. These could include:-

• Cabling & Site preparation Services
• Installation of Hardware – PC’s/Servers/Printers
• NT4, Windows 2000/2003, Novell, Citrix, Unix engineers
• WAN services
• IT Audit and IT consultancy
• Recruitment consultancy
• Network Design
• Routine maintenance inc. Backup’s, AV software etc.

PPS days can be purchased in advance as part of a support agreement. These are incorporated into your support schedule and paid for in the same manner.

An annual allocation of days can be calculated and specified by you. You will need to try and forecast how much adhoc /development work you may require during the term of a given contract. These can be topped up during the term if usage exceeds expectations. This feature of our support is flexible and easy to manage.

PPS days are reconciled on an hourly basis – no travel is charged and there are no minimum callout charges. The advantages to you are:-

Statements are issued at request showing the levels of usage itemising individual calls and the hours taken. The hours deducted are based upon the engineering field service reports that you sign before the engineer leaves site. Unused PPS allocation is carried forward to the next term of cover.

This arrangement helps both parties budget and plan their resources over a twelve month period. It is for this reason that we are able to offer discounted rates for our engineering services.
